SGSF Annual Meeting
June 8 - 10, 2010, IP Casino Resort Spa in Biloxi, Mississippi
Hosted by Mississippi Forestry Commission
Leaders of the state forestry agencies in all 13 southern states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands along with federal and private stakeholders will be attending this important three-day meeting to identify and discuss the most pressing issues facing the stewardship of southern forests, while working towards solutions to develop regional strategies to ensure the health and viability of our valuable forest resources. The SGSF Annual Meeting brings together a unique interface of science, academic, policy and on-the-ground management and is recognized as the premier gathering of the forestry profession’s top administrators, foresters, and university and conservation leaders.
The SGSF Annual Meeting is the only meeting that provides a forum for the directors of the southern state forestry agencies, their chief employees and community stakeholders to discuss issues and challenges of southern forests and develop methods and opportunities on how to address them, both collectively across the region and more efficiently within their states' boundaries.
State foresters and community stakeholders leave the meeting better prepared to take action on key forestry issues and learn about programs and solutions being introduced in other states to sustain the economic, environmental and social benefits of the South's forests.
The SGSF Annual Meeting is an opportunity for your company to network and increase your profile of products and services, as well as meet with state foresters and leaders in the forestry community. To participate in the SGSF meeting you must be an exhibitor or a sponsor.
