Come to my old Kentucky home June 11-14 when the South’s leaders in forestry will convene for the 2012 Southern Group of State Foresters Annual Meeting, hosted by the Kentucky Division of Forestry. Representatives from 13 state agencies and two territories, the U.S. Forest Service and other federal agencies, forest-based industries, and non-profit partners will be in Louisville to discuss key issues that impact forests in the South.
The theme of this year’s annual meeting is "Partnerships are Key." We all need our partners to make each of us better and stronger, and in these tough economic times, our partnerships are even more important to protect, conserve and enhance our forests.
